The Yuanhu Hotel was built in the early years of the Republic of China and was located outside the Zhangjiarong Park in the center of Jiaxing City. In early August 1921, some representatives of the first CPC National Congress who transferred from Shanghai to Jiaxing stayed here. The next day, before leaving the hotel, the representatives asked the hotel ledger to hire a medium-sized painting boat, borrowed mahjong from the hotel, and made full preparations to board the boat from the Lion River Ferry to Nanhu. Since then, the Yuanhu Hotel was once changed to the long-distance telephone Bureau, the Yangtze Hotel, etc., and was demolished when the construction of Qinjian Road was built in 1956.

As an important carrier of reviewing and inheriting the red history and culture of Jiaxing, on January 1, 2022, the Yuanhu Hotel was officially opened in Nan Hu Tiantian Lane No. 1, Jiaxing City. When you approach the Yuanhu Hotel, the first thing you can see is the building full of historical sense. The restored Yuanhu Hotel covers an area of 3000 square meters and adopts the architectural style of the combination of China and the West as a whole, with clear water gray brick walls and arched doors and windows, with strong customs of the Republic of China. The hotel has 21 rooms and 1921 restaurants, echoing the special year of 1921. The hotel uses purple, green, gold and red to imply respectively: purple gas from the east, green clouds straight up, wooden gold mother, Hong Luan Tianxi, annotating the four theme styles of Fu Lu Shou Xi.
