Through the opening of the "Nanhu ·1921" red tourist train from Shanghai to Jiaxing, the site of the Shanghai Communist Party Congress, the old station building of Jiaxing Railway Station, the former site of the Lion Hui Ferry entrance, the South Lake Red Boat, the South Lake Revolutionary Memorial Hall and other red tourist attractions are combined in series. Through the form of "story telling + Party class + on-site teaching + summary and comment", students can see while walking, learn and realize, and deeply understand the Red Boat spirit.

In 2015, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the "Red Boat Spirit", the Organization Department of Jiaxing Municipal Committee, the Party School of Jiaxing Municipal Committee and Nanhu Scenic Area jointly launched the experiential teaching project of "Retaking a Road", aiming to enable students to see and learn while walking through the teaching form of "storytelling + on-site teaching + summary and comments". Deeply understand the historical status of the Red Boat Spirit, its scientific connotation and its value in The Times, firmly adhere to the belief in Marxism and socialism with Chinese characteristics, adhere to the spiritual home of the Communists, and then earnestly assume the historical responsibility of realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Teaching content   

1 Jiaxing Memory: Referring to the itinerary of the delegates of the “First Congress” meeting in Nanhu, understand the historical background of the “First Congress” meeting in Nanhu as well as the life trajectory of the delegates of the “First Congress”, and realize the “great waves of the revolutionary journey” and the great mission and responsibility as a Party cadre in the new era. The revolutionary journey of the “big waves” and as a new era of party cadres of the great mission and responsibility.

2 Red Boat Story: Visiting the revolutionary red boat, listening to “the story of a big party and a small boat”, through revisiting the history of the founding of the party, deeply feeling the spirit of the red boat.

3 spirit inheritance: visit the South Lake Revolutionary Memorial Hall exhibition, learn the history of the party, from the actual scene of the retrospective back to the history of the scroll, realize the spirit of the Red Boat, renew the spirit of inheritance.
